The Dead – Monday – Battery Park?

Ok, so Battery Park was incorrect. The Dead are playing three shows on Monday. The first is an acoustic set at 5pm at Angel Orensanz. Next comes an 8pm electric full band set at the Gramercy Theatre. Finally, they’ll play an 11pm show over at the Roseland. If you haven’t put in a request at cloud.dead.net yet, you missed your chance. Wish me luck.

Take this with a grain of salt. I have no confirmation. I have no proof. This is purely rumor.

HOWEVER…

I’m hearing that that the Dead will be performing a surprise show down at Battery Park on Monday.

Know this: Phil, Bobby and Warren will be on The View (yes, really) earlier that day. They are scheduled to play one song and sit for an interview.

All I can say… I really hope it’s true.

Oh… and if you really want to see those three share a stage, but you don’t trust this Battery Park rumor, find yourself a ticket to the Allmans show on Saturday night. Jus sayin…
